Get Those Books Moving: Advertising & Display Ideas for the New Year

Move out of your comfort zone. You can only grow if you are willing to feel awkward and uncomfortable when you try something new.

This past Monday a few of the librarians who are the driving force behind the TL Virtual Cafe/#TLChat LIVE! stepped out of their comfort zones to bring you a simultaneous #TLChat Live! Twitter Chat and Google+ Hangout.  Some of us had little or no experience using Google+ Hangouts much less trying to follow a twitter chat in conjunction with being "on air"!

Charity Harbeck, Linda Lindsay, Becca Oxley, Shannon Miller, Tiffany Whitehead & myself along with cameo appearances from Gwyneth Jones, Tamara Cox (and a few others whose names have slipped my mind-please remind me in the comments box) kept the discussion about advertising and display ideas rolling along.

If you missed the #TLChat LIVE! twitter chat session you can review the tweets here: http://tlchat.wikispaces.com/Jan_14_Archive

If you missed our sometimes awkward growth into the Google+ Hangout realm you can watch it here:

During the Google+ Hangout discussion I was scanning the #tlchat twitter feed for great ideas, which came fast an furious from our amazing participants.  I started a collaborative Google Presentation in an attempt to grab some of the best tweets I saw.  Please add your favorite ideas from our #TLChat LIVE! twitter chat last night (January 14, 2013) here: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1rd4FCroOEBsP3oUwh26_5MPaTuuEAf50tFYA2mufJGM/edit

  1. Try and obtain a lot of vital details with the several advantageous relocating businesses locally. The very best people to question will probably be your family members, friends, fellow employees or it could be neighborhood pals who definitely have shifted not long ago. movers san antonio
